AutoTrust Cosmetic Repair Insurance is designed to help keep your Mercedes-Benz vehicle in showroom condition, protecting you against unexpected costs for minor dents, chips, light scratches and scuffs. These claims do not need to be reported to your motor insurers, keeping your no claims bonus unaffected.

Mercedes-Benz Cosmetic Repair Insurance features include:
- Flexible durations are available 12, 24 or 36 months
- Covers chips (up to 1.5CM), light scratches, scruffs and minor dents up to 30cm and 3mm depth
- Easy claims process via a portal or phone call.
- AutoTrust Mercedes-Benz cosmetic repairs are carried out by Dent Wizard Venture which is owned by the insurer and have repairers that cover all of UK mainland
- The mobile repair will be carried out at a convenient time and safe location of your choosing.
- When a mobile repair cannot be achieved, we offer up to £150 including VAT contribution towards a bodyshop repair
Mercedes-Benz Cosmetic Repair Insurance exclusions:
- To horizontal flat surfaces, roofs, bonnets and boot tops where the Repairer deems it not possible to achieve a satisfactory finish using Cosmetic Repair or Touch-in Repair techniques
- To paint colours and finishes that cannot be suitably matched by the Repairer. These include but are not limited to specialist, non-standard and exclusive paint colours and finishes, for example: self-healing paint, body wrap, chrome illusion paint, two tone paint finish or matt finishes
- To any body panel or part of a panel that has been distorted, ripped, torn, or perforated. Caused by hail, rust, pitting or paintwork discolouration. That requires replacement of any body panel or part of a panel
- Reported to the administrator more than 30 days after the Incident. Any claim where it is discovered that the policy was purchased more than 30 days following the delivery date of the vehicle.
