Mercedes-Benz offers comprehensive breakdown and accident cover, so we're by your side whatever the situation.

Our Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance service is available in partnership with the RAC, with support teams available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year across the UK and Europe.

Comprehensive Roadside Assistance comes free-of-charge for 3 years with any New Mercedes-Benz Cars or 1 year with all Approved Used Mercedes-Benz Cars.

To maintain Roadside Assistance cover after the first 3 years, and renew your cover for up to 30 years*, simply service your car at one of our Mercedes-Benz Retailers.

If you break down, we will send a qualified technician to try and fix the problem at the roadside. If this can’t be done, they will recover your car to your home, or a Mercedes-Benz Retailer.

If your car needs to be recovered into a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer, we can provide you with a replacement for up to 3 working days (excluding Accident Assistance).

Cover is also available for customers with cars registered from 24 October 1998* and is automatically activated/renewed on completion of a service by a Mercedes-Benz Retailer.

Technical Breakdown

If you can’t start your car or continue your journey for technical or safety reasons, we’ll come and get you up and running.

Minor Mishap

If you suffer a puncture, lose your keys or run out of petrol, you’re covered.

Accident assistance

Regardless of fault, we’ll get your car home or to a Mercedes-Benz Retailer, whichever you prefer.

Vandalism & Theft

If your journey is impeded after vandalism, we’ll be there.

Rescue Assist

The latest innovation in vehicle safety - Rescue Assist is a safety system from Mercedes-Benz that uses QR (Quick Response) Rescue Codes to give emergency services faster access to critical information at the scene of an accident.

At an accident scene, emergency services need certain information about the vehicle involved - for example, its structural framework or the location of hazardous systems such as batteries and fuel tanks - to enable a safe, fast rescue operation.

All new Mercedes-Benz models are fitted with Rescue Assist QR Rescue Codes during production. For cars manufactured from 1990 onwards, Mercedes-Benz is offering a free-of-charge retro-fit service, simply contact us for further information.
